Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking for the fourth time with Pete “Mance Rayder” Raymond on his Free Man Beyond the Wall podcast, and for a second time about the critically important issue of vaccines.

In this interview, I discuss why I’ve shifted the focus of my work increasingly away from other issues and toward this one, as well as how I approach the subject in terms of my research and writing.

For anyone who’s been persuaded by the false impression delivered by the government and mainstream media that anyone who dares criticize or dissent from public vaccine policy is irrational and ignorant of the science, this interview is a great corrective introduction to the issue.

As I explain, the reality is that, while there is misinformation on both sides, the preponderance of it is coming from the government and media, which refuse to seriously and substantively address the criticisms and concerns about the threat to children’s health from CDC’s routine childhood vaccine schedule, as well as the threat to our liberty from state laws mandating compliance for public education.

There is no serious discussion about this issue in the mainstream discourse, as I explain with examples from the New York Times, illustrating how it engages in public policy advocacy rather than journalism.

Instead, the government and media systematically deceive the public about what the science really tells us about the safety and effectiveness of vaccines and attack those who dare speak out or dissent. I explain why there is a serious discussion to be had about vaccines, and why it is well past time for us to be having it.
