On Saturday, September 9, I had the pleasure of speaking live with Bruce de Torres on TNT Radio.
The conversation started out with a question about how I got started doing independent journalism, and I explained how I started digging into the events of 9/11 and then speaking out against the Iraq war, which led me to start publishing writings about US foreign policy.
My focus on US foreign policy in the Middle East led to an intense focus on the Israel-Palestine conflict, which is the subject of my book Obstacle to Peace: The US Role in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.
In time, I came to include a focus on economic policies, as well, with a particular focus on the role of the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency and and function of the Federal Reserve System. My book Ron Paul vs. Paul Krugman: Austrian vs. Keynesian Economics illuminates the causes of the so-called “business cycle” of economic booms and busts by showing how the Fed’s inflationary monetary policy was the primary cause of the housing bubble that precipitated the 2008 financial crisis.
I explain that the purpose of central banks like the Federal Reserve is to effect an upwards transfer of wealth from us to the politically and financially elite, which violates our right to liberty, our property rights, and the right to the fruits of our own labors.
Then when my son was born in 2012, I began applying the research and analytic skills I’d developed to digging into the medical literature to be able to make informed choices about vaccinations, and my discovery of the huge gap between what the government and media say science says and what the science actually says led me to also start speaking out against public vaccine policies that result in the systematic violation of the right to informed consent.
In 2021, my book The War on Informed Consent was published, featuring a Foreword by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
While I’ve covered a broad range of topics over the years, the consistent theme is that my work has combatted criminal government policies.
After I summarized my background, Bruce asked for my perspective on RFK Jr.’s expressions of unconditional support for Israel, and I explained that while I stand with him on many issues, this is one where we hold virtually opposite viewpoints. As my book Obstacle to Peace documents in meticulous detail, the effect of US policy has long been to support Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.
I expressed my admiration of Kennedy for his honesty and integrity and my belief that once he better understands the true nature of US policy toward the conflict, he will change his views.
(On that note, Charles Eisenstein, and adviser to Kennedy, has written a superb article that effectively communicates my own views on why I support his presidential candidacy despite his position on Israel. I highly recommend reading it: “Palestine and the Politics of Guilt by Association“.)
I explained how the mainstream media narrative of the conflict is virtually identical to the Zionist propaganda narrative, such that what you will hear from the Israeli government is virtually the same as what you will hear from the New York Times and other mainstream outlets. The consequence is that what most people think they know about the conflict just isn’t true.
I provide examples such as explaining how the idea that Israel was created by the UN is a myth. Israel was not created through any kind of legitimate political or legal process but was instead established through violence and the ethnic cleansing of most of the Arab population from their homes in Palestine.
(Full details and documentation for everything I touched on are included in Obstacle to Peace.)
After discussing the history of the conflict for a bit, we shifted the focus to vaccines and the COVID-19 lockdowns. We discussed how, from the start, the endgame of the authoritarian lockdowns was coerced mass vaccination. We talked about the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) plan to implement a system of global medical totalitarianism and the need to stand up and speak out in favor of health freedom.
Bruce brought up my four-part series on flu shots, and we discussed how studies found that getting a seasonal flu shot was associated with an increased risk of illness with the 2009 pandemic H1N1 influenza virus. This relates to the phenomenon of “original antigenic sin”, which studies have confirmed to be a problem with the mRNA COVID‑19 vaccines. I explain why we must consider superior natural immunity to be an opportunity cost of vaccination.
Bruce mentioned the work of Dr. Meryl Nass, which prompted me to say a few things about how the federal government and state medical boards have been going after and punishing doctors for helping their patients exercise to their right to informed consent.
This is also the topic of my book The War on Informed Consent: The Persecution of Dr. Paul Thomas by the Oregon Medical Board.
I ended with a call to action among news consumers to participate in independent journalism by sharing empowering knowledge and otherwise helping to raise awareness of the problems and solutions so that we can gain our freedom and preserve liberty for future generations.
