Refunds and Returns Policy

One of the means by which I sustain my independence as a journalist is by selling my books directly to readers from my website. I might also offer other products or services on my website. I want to ensure that my customers are happy with their purchase. I therefore offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, within reasonable limits.

I do not guarantee that you will like my books (or other products). Many people do not like what I have to say. I make a living saying things that certain people do not want other people to hear. If you choose to buy from me, you are accepting the risk that you might not like the product. Here are some examples of valid reasons for a refund:

  • The wrong item was delivered
  • Your item never arrived despite providing a mailing address recognized as valid by the US Postal Service (USPS)
  • The item arrived damaged through no fault of the shipping services

Your purchase will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if any off the following conditions apply:

  • The item becomes damaged, soiled, or worn from use after opening
  • You purchased a signed copy of a book (unless it arrives in damaged condition or you received the wrong item)
  • You provided an incorrect mailing address not recognized as valid by the US Postal Service and didn’t receive the item
