Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner insists that Obama’s economic policy has been “remarkably successful”.

“Remarkably successful”.

Let that sink in.

Peter Schiff points out that Geithner as the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York oversaw a study in 2004 that denied the existence of the housing bubble so the Fed could continue to inflate it, so of course he has an incentive to deny and obfuscate and cover up and lie and pretend as though he was doing a good job as Treasury Secretary under Obama. I mean, he’s not going to say, “Obama’s policy stinks, he’s bankrupting the country, and I’ve done a horrible job as Secretary of the Treasury, really just disgraced this office.”

Obama’s economic policy has been remarkably successful.

These aren’t the ‘droids you’re looking for.
