Vaccines and Allowable Opinion: Tom Woods Interviews Jeremy Hammond

Dr. Paul Thomas's published data indicate that his completely unvaccinated patients are the healthiest children in his practice.
I was on the Tom Woods Show to discuss my book The War on Informed Consent and how we are lied to about vaccines.

I had the honor this week of being on The Tom Woods Show to discuss my book The War on Informed Consent: The Persecution of Dr. Paul Thomas by the Oregon Medical Board, which features a Foreword by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Hit the play button in the audio player above to listen now!

Tom kicked it off by reading the following hard-hitting excerpt from Bobby’s Foreword:

Hammond’s work is of vital importance to the nation at a time when Americans are being bribed, sanctioned, and intimidated into submitting to COVID-19 vaccinations despite the absence of data on long-term safety and effectiveness. Every citizen should ask whether it is prudent to accept the dictates of public health authorities who claim the mantle of science and yet persecute those who do real scientific research that does not align with the political agenda of high vaccination rates. Hammond is asking the reader to consider the evidence and question those who seek to sanction those who courageously tell the truth at a time when our nation is starving for honesty and for leaders who will place the interests of the people — and especially of children — above the political and financial interests of the pharmaceutical industry and the corrupt medical establishment.

Then I explained to Tom’s listeners who Dr. Paul Thomas is and how he came to be persecuted by the Oregon Medical Board for practicing informed consent in his pediatric practice rather than pressuring his patients’ parents into vaccinating strictly according to the CDC’s routine childhood schedule.

The Board demanded that Dr. Thomas produce peer-reviewed evidence to support his alternative approach, which he proceeded to do. In collaboration with research scientist and data analyst Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, Dr. Thomas did a study comparing a broad range of health outcomes between vaccinated and completely unvaccinated patients born into his practice, the results of which showed that his unvaccinated patients were the healthiest children in his practice.

Just days after that study was published in a peer-reviewed journal, the Board held an “emergency” meeting to suspend his medical license on the grounds that he was a threat to public health.

The truth is that Dr. Thomas was a threat to the so-called “public health” establishment and the state’s policy aim of achieving high vaccination rates, which was simply at odds with Dr. Thomas’s goal of achieving a healthy childhood population.

We discuss how Dr. Thomas started out practicing medicine the way he was taught, which meant assuming that the “experts” at the CDC were the best of the best and blindly following their guidance to vaccinate according to schedule. But then he started researching vaccines for himself until he came to a point where he could no longer go on doing “business as usual”. He left a group practice to open his own clinic grounded on the principle of truly informed consent.

Together with Dr. Jennifer Margulis, he also authored the book The Vaccine-Friendly Plan, which helps to guide parents through the decision-making process about vaccinations and offers an example alternative schedule designed in large part to reduce the amount of neurotoxic aluminum that children are exposed to from vaccines.

Then the accusations from the Oregon Medical Board started coming.

Tom and I discussed just a few of the many examples in my book about how the assumptions underlying the Board’s actions are contradicted by the science. Points we discussed include:

  • How 90% of the decline in infectious disease mortality observed during the 20th century occurred before vaccines were available to help explain it.
  • How the FDA in 1984 declared in the Federal Register, with regard to the “live” virus oral polio vaccine that caused every domestic case of paralytic polio after 1979, that “any possible doubts, whether or not well founded, about the safety of the vaccine cannot be allowed to exist in view of the need to ensure that the vaccine will continue to be used to the maximum extent consistent with the nation’s public health objectives.” (Emphasis added.)
  • How that statement illuminates what has taken place during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the government grossly violating our rights under the false pretense that their policies were back by science and truth-tellers being censored for speaking out.
  • How the truth is that what they say science says and what science actually tells us are two completely different things.
  • How the censorship pre-dated the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • How vaccines can have beneficial or detrimental “non-specific effects”, meaning long-term consequences that might not be detectable until years after the vaccination, such as the finding of numerous studies that the diphtheria, tetanus, and whole-cell pertussis (DTP) vaccine is associated with an increased rate of childhood mortality.
  • Why, absent randomized, placebo-controlled trials comparing long-term health outcomes, including all-cause mortality, between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, any claim that a vaccine is “safe and effective” is scientifically meaningless. (As I was making that statement, my internet provider had an area outage, so the end of my sentence got cut off; fortunately, though, I was able to get back online and continue my discussion with Tom using my Solis Lite Mobile Hotspot, a great portable WiFi device!)
  • Why the CDC’s claim that “Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism” is disinformation.
  • How the study by Dr. Thomas and Dr. Lyons-Weiler was wrongfully retracted on false pretexts, a clear example of politically motivated censorship of scientific findings that do not align with government policy.

Tom had some kind words for me, describing me as “a really, really careful investigator”, and he had the following high praise for my book, which as a fan of Tom’s own writing, I greatly appreciate:

There is an enormous amount of valuable information that you probably didn’t know, particularly about vaccines, in this book, and it’s called The War on Informed Consent: The Persecution of Dr. Paul Thomas by the Oregon Medical Board. That sounds like a very narrow topic, but that topic brings up very, very big topics that we all need to know something about.

It’s a deceptive book in a way because it’s very short, but I have read books that are five times as long as this that I didn’t learn one-tenth as much from. So, there’s no waste, there’s no fluff in here. I’d like to think that’s the way I write books, so I sense a kindred spirit here, so you’ll learn an awful lot on this general topic and in the course of that learn about an injustice done to somebody we might consider to be a hero, certainly a very, very brave physician.

Here is the follow-up article I mentioned discussing the unjustified retraction of the Thomas and Lyons-Weiler study showing that Dr. Thomas’s unvaccinated patients are the healthiest children in his practice:

Here are two articles I published in December 2022 that go into much more detail than the book about aluminum and autism:

I also mentioned in the interview how my own family has experienced expulsion by a pediatric practice, so here is an article I wrote about that incident, including my absolutely scathing response letter to the physicians at the clinic:

Here is the 4-part series I did on flu shots, which I also mentioned in the interview (the one that I believe is how Bobby Kennedy first became aware of my work):

This was my fifth appearance on the Tom Woods Show (not the fourth as I mistakenly said in the interview). Here are the four previous interviews:

The question about kids bullying parents, and how that would make for an interesting society, caught my attention. We’re not too far from that, with the over-the-top HPV ads seeking to guilt parents.
