Interview: Healing Leaky Gut Despite Ignorant Doctors

I spoke with Ethel on her new podcast Rooted Remedies about my personal health journey and the illuminating experiences I had trying vainly to get help with symptoms from the medical establishment.

During our discussion, I explained how I started having debilitating symptoms in 2013 that I self-diagnosed as leaky gut and how the ignorance of the doctors I tried to get help from was matched only by their arrogance and condescension.

I explain how I was literally mocked for doing my own research and how numerous doctors refused to acknowledge the science that supported my self-diagnosis. It is a lesson in how to gain the knowledge required to have the confidence to stand up to bullies masquerading as licensed medical professionals.

Through my experience, I learned just how useless most doctors are when it comes to understanding diseases and addressing root causes. It was an eye-opening experience illuminating just how totally dysfunctional the medical establishment is, with doctors effectively serving as nothing more than glorified salespersons for the pharmaceutical industry.

I also learned how to trust my own judgment and take my health into my own hands despite the less-than-useless doctors.

The topic of doctors’ ignorance naturally led to the topic of vaccines, and we also discussed the need for parents to do their own research and trust their own judgment in that area of health, as well.

I also discussed how my wife and I homeschool our son, now eleven, and Ethel explained that she’s a homeschooling parent, too. We discussed the importance of parents taking responsibility for their own children’s education, including by protecting them from the propaganda children are indoctrinated with in the government school system.
