My Interview on Doctors and Scientists
I had the honor of being a featured guest on Friday’s episode of CHD.TV’s Doctors and Scientists with host Dr. Brian Hooker, the Chief Scientific Officer at Children’s Health Defense (CHD).
On the April 24 episode, CHD.TV featured my presentation “A Tale of Two Studies: Why the claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is disinformation, and how studies are designed to find no association.”
Dr. Hooker wanted me back on to discuss my research, which focuses on how public vaccine policies systematically violate individuals’ right to informed consent. (Available at CHD.TV, YouTube, and Rumble. Starts at about 44:45 in the embedded video above.)
For a case study of how medical licensing is weaponized against ethical physicians who respect parents’ right to make their own informed choices about childhood vaccinations, read my book The War on Informed Consent, which features a Foreword by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
The book also succinctly explains why so many parents with legitimate concerns about vaccines are choosing to ignore the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Dr. Hooker encouraged his viewers, “You’ve got to pick it up, it’s a terrific read.” He also had these kind words to say about my work: “You know, Jeremy, you’re filling a gap because nobody else will do this type of research, and so my hat is off to you on that. . . . Jeremy Hammond is an inspiration to all of you.”
Topics Covered in This Interview
- Why I started doing journalism on the vaccine issue.
- How the Oregon Medical Board suspended Dr. Paul Thomas’s medical license on fraudulent pretexts, as told in my book The War on Informed Consent.
- My take on the establishment’s hysterical reactions to changes to the CDC’s schedule made under the leadership of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
- Why the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP’s) lawsuit against HHS for updating some vaccine recommendations to the category of “shared clinical decision making” indicates the trade organization’s profound rejection of the right to informed consent.
- How the 2019 Danish study by Hviid et al. purporting to show that the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is not associated with autism even among genetically susceptible children was essentially designed to find no association — as Dr. Brian Hooker, Dr. Jeet Varia, and I reveal in our peer-reviewed paper “Hviid et al. 2019 Vaccine-Autism Study: Much Ado About Nothing?”
- How I came to collaborate with Dr. Hooker and CHD on that paper, and why, out of all MMR-autism studies, I selected this one to focus my analysis on.
- What “healthy user bias” is and how Hviid et al., instead of controlling for it, effectively utilized it to produce the desired outcome.
- How the “MAHA” movement is being sidelined by the Trump administration, why we cannot expect top-down solutions, and the need for the grassroots health freedom movement to continue working for bottom-up change.
- Why the CDC and FDA cannot be “fixed”.
- How the public policy goal of high vaccination conflicts with the proper goal of a healthy childhood population.
